Information collection and use
Amanita Guesthouse will not collect any personal information about you except when specifically and knowingly provided by you. The types of information we may obtain include:
- your name, gender, e-mail address, telephone number, nationality;
- details of food allergies/dietary requirements and special requests made (for example, relating to a disability) you provide to us;
- passport and visa information, payment information, travel history and details of joint travelers;
- dates of your stay and associated charges;
- purchase or delivery of products or services;
- reviews and opinions about our brand and services;
- or information we receive about you from any third parties through whom you have booked your arrangements;
We do not collect “sensitive information” (e.g., information on racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, criminal background or trade union membership) with the exception of information about health conditions provided voluntarily by you, to the extent necessary to meet your special needs.
If you submit your email address to register for our newsletter, we may use this information to stay in touch with you and/or monitor whether you open and/or click on URLs in our e-mails.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise share information about our customers and all information provided to Amanita Guesthouse remains confidential, except that we may share aggregate or summary information regarding our customers with partners, advertisers or other third parties, or share information with companies that provide support services to us such as a payment service provider, or web host. Also we may disclose information about you if we are required to do so by law or pursuant to legal process, or in response to a request from law enforcement authorities or other government officials.
We do not intentionally collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If for any reason we receive this type of information, we shall erase it from our files.
It should also be noted that Google is using the DART cookie, that enables it to serve ads to Users based on their visit to our site. DART uses “non personally identifiable information” and does not track personal information about you, such as your name, e-mail address, physical address etc. You may find information about opting out of the use of the DART cookie at http://www.google.com/privacy ads.html
Access to personal data and Rights thereto
If you wish, you may request at any time to get informed about your personal data that are maintained by our Hotel, their recipients, the purpose of their maintenance and processing, as well as their modification, correction or deletion, by sending an email to the address firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address you have declared, attaching a copy of your identity card. You may also exercise any other right foreseen by the law for the protection of the personal data.
We take information and system security very seriously and we strive to comply with our obligations at all times. We have taken several measures, including being PCI DSS compliant, so that your transactions are safe and secure. Our servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced encryption technology that works with the main browser applications available on the market. However no web or email transmission is ever totally protected or mistake free. For example, email sent out to or from the Website may not be protected. You must take unique care in deciding what info you send to us by means of email. For your own protection, we encourage you not to include sensitive personal information, credit card or similar data in any e-mails you send us.
