Eco-friendly methods and policies

First of all, we made a conscious decision to use only stone and wood to construct the AMANITA Guesthouse, Tsagarada, Pelion. In this way, we managed to achieve a significant energy savings for heating in winter and to avoid the need for air conditioning in the summer. This choice has resulted in a significant reduction in natural resource consumption and air emissions. The installation of double-glazed windows has also helped conserve energy.

For the same reason, we selected appliances with high energy efficiency and almost all light bulbs are low-consumption.

All bathrooms in the rooms and common areas have been fitted with dual-flush toilets to conserve water.

At the AMANITA Guesthouse, we separate our waste, placing recyclables in the Municipality's recycling bins and the remainder in the regular waste bins. Our organic waste is composted.
